G-APIM (cn 412) My first view of the inside of this classic British Airliner, stored here at the Brooklands Museum. It was assembled here and first flew on the 4th June, 1958. It then served with BEA and later Cambrian, before moving to BAF. It was damaged beyond repair after another aircraft hit it at Southend in 1988. There is no mistaking those very large, oval cabin windows on this aircraft. |

A4O-AB (cn 820) They don't make them like they used to - close detail of the instrumentation panel of this 35 year old aircraft. Delivered to the Oman Government in 1974, this VC-10 was donated to the museum at Brooklands in 1987 by the Sultan of Oman. |
