EX-001 (cn 5343606) In August 2011 this An-12 was still wearing faded colours as it was wearing in 2006 already. It has been repainted and came to Bunia to provide support for the president who was on a nationwide tour to promote his candidature for the November 28th elections. According to Kyrgyz CAA, EX-001 is not in the Kyrgyz register since June 2006. |

3X-GCN (cn unknown) At least four years in DRC already, this 'Salon' Mi-8 is part of the DRC Presidential Fleet. It arrived the day before with the First Lady, Mrs. Kabila, and left the 18th for a destination in the bush, where her husband could not land with his Gulfstream I. Making this picture was a typical 'point, shoot and hide' affair. |

9Q-CGI (cn 196) The final weeks of the election campaign brought some interesting aircraft to Bunia, as this G I, which arrived with President Kabila. Bunia is too short for the presidential 727-100, so it stayed behind in Kisangani. Here Golf India is taking off for Isiro. Another 9Q-registered brought other members of the presidential party. |

9Q-CGM (cn 87306401) Back in 2006, Mango was operating two An-12s and an An-26. The An-12s vanished (crashed or got sold) and and it is unclear if the An-26 from 2006 is the same as this one. Golf Mike has been grounded until April 2011 when Mango finally had all the paperwork in order again. The Antonov got damaged upon landing in Goma, but is up and running again since mid-November 2011. |

S9-DBP (cn 8346201) Written off somewhere in 2007 after the plane landed halfway the runway and could not stop before the end of the tarmac. The plane damaged its starboard main gear and prop nr. 4. The plane was fully loaded with cigarets. The Antonov has been dragged away to the main ramp and is awaiting its fate there. The owner -according to locals- died in a crash (An-12?) in Egypt. One exhaust cover had written '15' on it. |
