USA - Air Force
General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcon (401)
Chattanooga - Lovell Field (CHA / KCHA)
USA - Tennessee, May 19, 2002
Remark
Photographer
87-0331 / 5 (cn 5C-592) Thunderbird #5 solo climbs steeply in full afterburner during the opening of the T-bird Sunday display at the Chattanooga air show. The inverted number 5 on the air intake nacelle wall is a noteworthy detail- inverted numbers are a mark of distinction for the solo aircraft.

NX9246B / 490460/40 (cn 399-55605) A major difference between American and European displays is the 'photo pass'...If you have the sun in your back and a blue sky, it results in a picture like this ;) I like the clean metal liveries, let alone the monumental sound!
