XJ580 / E-131 (cn 10062) Built in 1960 as a Sea Vixen Mk1 and served with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm on board various aircraft carriers until being converted to FAW2 specification in 1965. She was finally retired in Jan-1980 and was reportedly the last Sea Vixen flown by the FAA in Royal Navy colours. Preserved at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum since 2000. |

XV408 (cn 2946/0040) Delivered new to the Royal Air Force in 1968, making her one of the RAF's first Phantoms. She spent her service years based at RAF Coningsby's Operational Conversion Unit then later to 23 Squadron operating in Germany and the UK. Retired in 1992 and became a gate guardian at RAF Cranwell and later displayed in the open at Halton and Fairford. Preserved at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum since November 2005. |

WA829 Tangmere's Meteor F8 is in remarkably good condition considering the years she's spent outside in all weathers and in close proximity to the coast. There seems to be very little corrosion or damage, which is excellent news. She is going to look great once this extensive renovation is complete. |

ZA195 (cn 912034/DB.1) Built as an FRS1 model and first flown on 09-Sep-1982. Flown with 899 Squadron until being returned to BAe where she was converted to become the FRS2 prototype, including a 35" fueslage stretch just behind the cockpit, new wing, new cockpit and new Pegasus engine. Served with A&AEE at Boscombe Down for eight years. Eventually retired and previously preserved at Wycombe Air Park and Farnborough. Arrived here at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum on 21-Feb-2008. |

XV408 (cn 2946/0040) The latest exhibit for the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, on loan from the RAF Museum. Painted in the early 1990s in an all-blue commemorative scheme then later reverted to standard all-grey. After a long period of outdoor storage the blue paint is beginning to show through. |

XV408 (cn 2946/0040) Former RAF Halton Phantom, which was taken to Fairford in 2004 for the "100 Years of Flight Experience". Shortly after the show it was announced the aircraft would be scrapped at Fairford before the end of the year. Fortunately she never met the scrapman and has now been donated to the Royal Air Force Museum, and lent by them to the super little museum down here at Tangmere. |

WP190 / K (cn S4/U/3041) Recently moved into the Tangmere Aviation Museum's new display hangar, this Hunter has been stored in recent years. One of only two survining F.5s in the world and the only one to be on public display. This new facility will be open to the public in autumn 2005. The finishing touches are being made, with the fusleage bay on the left and lots of panels ready for refitting. Please visit this wonderful museum. |
