Remark
Photographer
1160 / 5K-AR (cn 1160) shot down 72 years ago. It was retrieved from the seabed in 2013. It came to Cosford and was put in special hydration tunnels which nonstop spray citric acid to keep the remains in condition. Here seen is the fuselage in the misty tunnel. Shot down on a mission from Sint Truiden in Belgium at August 26 1940 and crashed into the Goodwin Sands. All crew escaped the plane and were captured as POW. This is the second tunnel whit the fuselage. This is the most complete Do-17 in the world.
