TC-91 (cn 21070/897) This is one of the last Boeing 707 in the world fitted with a passenger cabin that still flies regularly revenue passenger service (in her case with LADE). Picture taken a couple of minutes after this senior bird landed. Note the cabin lighting still on. I would be so glad if I could once fly in one of these grand-daddies of modern passenger jets!! |

TC-70 (cn 382-4816) Del. 1979. Along with sister ship KC-130H TC-69, this Hercules was widely used as an air tanker supporting Argentina AF’s Skyhawks combat missions during the war between Argentina and Britain in 1982. |

Then she went to BOAC as G-ATZD, and later to other operators like ZAS Airlines of Egypt as SU-DAI, Okada Air as 5N-AOO, and Royal Jordanian Airline Cargo as JY-AJM. Since September 1997 she belongs to the 1st Air Brigade of the Argentine AF, were she was given a civil reg. to be used for international commercial cargo flights. Grounded since May 2004. |

LV-YPA (cn 47613/742) In its best years (late 1990s), Dinar had a fleet of seven DC-9s and MD-81s. I do remember well the distinctive cabin service of this airline and I miss it. The a/c shown is grounded here since the collapse of this carrier in 2002. I doubt she will ever fly again. Former Finnair OH-LNC, EC-DQT & JA8429. |
