VH-ELA (cn 221) This is a very rare aircraft type in Australia - one of only 3 on the Register. It was initially registered in the USA as N4122X, later N29A. It was exported to Australia in 1977 and registered VH-ELA on 16 May. This aircraft was one of 50 taking part in the Air Rally associated with the Federation Airshows in the Outback. |

VH-TMQ (cn 16136/32884) Taxing this classic beauty proved a tight task between the 747 and the line up of lighties. A lot of a/c arrvied for the arrival of the 707-138B VH-XBA. Many on the 747 tour still took time out to admire this polished bird as we taxied for fuel. |

VH-EBQ (cn 22145/410) The Germans have their LH747 and us Aussies have our QF747 on display. Shame ours doesn't light up aswell at night. Longreach well worth a visit, now that the 707 is going to rest there also. |

VH-EBQ (cn 22145/410) Arr the old analogue display instruments, which are long gone from heavy aircraft of today. A great feature of the Qantas Museum and for the town of Longreach. A truly classic beauty |
