VH-LUT (cn N40) The Luton Minor has its origins in the 1930s and was one of the foundations of the homebuilt movement in post-War Britain. This one was built in NSW between 1965-95 and is currently based at Locksley, Vic, from where it regularly flies all over the Australian eastern seaboard. It's powered by a VW and has an endurance of about 5 hours (range 300 NM). Good to see Peter out and about again! |

VH-ABZ (cn 3314) This is a rare pre-war aircraft, having been imported to Australia in 1938 after previously being on the US Civil register as NC20637. It was impressed into the RAAF as A36-2 but withdrawn from service in 1942 following a forced landing. Returned to the civil Register in the early post-war years, it has led a long life since. Seen here at the AAAA National Fly-in. |
