It has had an impressive life. Delivered January 1945 to the US Army, and has flown since for the RAF Montreal, RAF Azores, RAF Broadwell, Scottish Aviation, got the civil registration G-AMSM in April 1952, flown for Starways, Eagle Aircraft, British International Services, Kuwait Airways, Skyways and Air Freight. It was badly damaged on take-off at the airport of Lydd in 1978. The nose section remained and was shortly used in a TV series. Erwin Contact Link to me!
