This helicopter was delivered in 1989, at first served by 3. dlp (transport air regiment), later in 1994 renamed to 6. zDL (transport airforce base) and finally since 2003 renamed to 24. zDL of Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, where is assigned concrete to 242. dl. (transport squadron), all-time based at Praha-Kbely. Presently serve by CzAF three Mi-8S nrs. 0834, 0835 and 0836. |

Since 1. 10. 2008 were W-3A´s from 233. vrlt SAR moved from Prerov and Line AFB´s into new home base - 24. zDL (transport AFB) Praha-Kbely and sq. was renumbered on 243. vrlt. At Line AB is now only detachment with 2 Sokols in LZZS (HEMS) as "Christoph 07." |
