MT847 / XA-H (cn 6S/643779) On static display in the Air and Space Hall at the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester. This is a late-model MkXIV with clipped wingtips, a cut-down rear fuselage and a bubble canopy. The Supermarine Spitfire was a British high-performance fighter aircraft flown by the Royal Air Force and allied air forces during World War Two. This is my 2000th upload to the database, and quite a fitting aircraft (Canon 350D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM, Speedlight 430EX) |
