C-FFST (cn 22461) I thought this home built RV-6 looked great with just bare metal skin but I'm sure its been painted by now & I wonder what colour? It was built in 2008 & is seen here taxiing to the active. It's reg used to belong to a Piaggio Avanti as seen in another photo. |

C-FVPA (cn 0846) The pilot of this beautiful black Raven flew a nice circling approach to a soft touchdown infront of a hangar. It was easy to tell he'd landed there many times before. This helicopter was built in 2000, is based here, & its reg used to belong to a Bell 47G-4 as seen in another photo. |

C-GGHQ (cn 18504061) This sharp looking Skywagon was built in 1980 & was parked infront of the airport office here at its home base. With the lake starting to melt that half car tug, a blue dodge, will soon be active putting floatplanes back in the water & I believe a new restaurant was being added to the building. |

C-GEUU (cn 185-02914) This Skywagon looked great in its rich Navy Blue as it waited outside for the lake ice to melt. It was built in 1976 & is based here. With the airport's new owners, a friendly couple, currently improving the airport with new hangars, etc, perhaps this airplane will be sheltered next winter. |

C-GOXY (cn T20608804) After warming the engine here at its base the pilot/Police officer gave me a friendly wave & taxied off to runway 12. He was alone this time without a backseat observer so maybe this flight wasn't for finding bad guys. This Stationair was built in 2008 & I love its fancy paint scheme, it looks really cool for a Police airplane. |

C-FGDQ (cn 18052368) With a good push off the dock this Skywagon was floating away before the pilot started it up. It was built in 1973 & after water taxiing in several wide circles to warm the engine this good looking floatplane was off the lake & flying free. |

Wow, what a completely different scene this time, and I think its new colours look excellent! It was built in 1976 and must live here now. |
