HK-4315 (cn 49968/1668) This Mad Dog which formerly belonged to Aero Republica was scheduled to be scrapped, its #1 engine having been removed shortly after arrival. Fortunately for this aircraft, a buyer from South Africa came along, and the plane was put back together and flown out just a couple weeks after I shot this photo. |

VP-BTK (cn 427) This lovely A310 is probably one of the most unique planes to ever come to Sanford. Unfortunately, rumor has it that this aircraft will be one of the next on the scrap line. It will be sad to see if that holds true. |

N509US / 5509 (cn 23198/70) Sadly, this former Northwest 757's days are numbered. It is being taken apart, piece by piece, by the scrappers at the Avocet facility. Behind it, N512US shares the same fate. A third 757, N511US, has already been scrapped. |
