55-1933 (cn DR97-1040SB) My old mate 'Prong' in the flare aboard 'Wally' after a sunny, Sunday-morning jolly. My logbook shows that I first flew 'Wally' on 20 Dec 1997 when it was just about brand new, and pretty regularly for the next four years. There is little more pleasant in aviation than swanning about on a warm summer's evening in a Drifter! |

19-3116 (cn 003) Now here's a real oddity: the 5th Snark designed and built by WB Barber in New Zealand, and the first 3-B, although the first two aircraft didn't have cns. Formerly ZK-JIU, imported to Australia, returned to NZ and re-imported to Aus. This one is the victim of a spelling error. And yes, that is the badge of 6/JG52 on the nose! |
