The 'airport' of Saba. Only 1300 ft of runway and steep cliffs on both ends. Certainly a challenging airport to land at! |

PJ-WIH (cn 766) Named Freddy Jonson “Spirit of Saba” We where the first passengers to embark the flight Winair 443 to SXM. Still no2 engine runs. You have to enter first into the aircraft if you fly to/from Saba, because is a free sitting flight and you should keep the first sit back of the flight deck. |

PJ-WIL / WM411 (cn 358) Juancho Yrausquin Airport. 1,312 ft, world's shortest commercial airport. Officially, the runway is permanently closed to all air traffic as is designated by the "X" on each end. However, aircraft are permitted to operate on Saba by obtaining waivers from the Netherlands Antilles' Civil Aviation Authority. (Konica Revio KD-410Z) |
