54-2152 / 11-ML (cn 223-32) The French Air Force received 85 F-100D Super Sabres from the USA under the Military Aid Program. In 1976 the remaining aircraft returned to American control when they were flown to RAF Sculthorpe in Norfolk. This example from EC 2/11 is seen after arrival at Sculthorpe. Many of the ex-French Super Sabres were donated to aircraft museums around the UK, but this particular airframe appears to have been scrapped. |
