Located in the National Park Tortuguero, this is by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited in my life. Looking down runway 33, on the right side is the Caribbean Ocean, on the left is the canal with on the opposite side the resorts. This airstrip isn't separated by anything and so I decided to drink my water on the middle of the runway, no problem at all! The airport is served in the mornings by a Twin Otter, but I haven't gotten it on photo, we were too busy photographing baby turtles!!
