NOTAM...There is now a new restaurant called Honoluna Island Grill which has great food and is right on the airport and runway 13/31 is closed to be resurfaced. |

N554HA (cn 28-7715134) Huffman Aviation was the flight school located in Venice, Florida where Mohamed Atta the leader of the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center along with Marwan al-Shehhi trained. There building and planes now lie along the Venice Airport and serve as a grim reminder of the attacks on the World Trade Center. I am also told that they trained in this plane along with a C150 and DA-20. |
