C-GAAV / 967 (cn UE-235) A bit of a surprise here - I thought it was too late for the flight from Montreal. As it turns out, today's afternoon flight to/from Toronto was a Beech instead of a Dash 8. Sony Alpha a700, Tamron 70-200 f/2.8. |

A7-BAB (cn 36103/686) The best diversion of the day - heck, the best diversion of the year here at BDL! As if 12 hours from Doha to the United States weren't enough time in this 777, the passengers got an extra couple of hours to enjoy the plane standing still on the ground here in Windsor Locks. Qatari 83 Heavy finally prepares to get underway from Runway 6 for the quick trip over to JFK; the flight diverted to Bradley on account of severe storm activity down in New York. |

PH-MCG / CG-275 (cn 24428/279) If Internet scuttlebutt is to be believed, and in this case I believe it is, then this could possibly be the very last flight for this aircraft before it's scrapped. Two Martinair 767s leaving their fleet transited Bradley this day to clear customs. The sister ship went to Roswell, NM; this one operates as Martinair 161 Heavy and is departing on Runway 6, bound for Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. |

PH-MCH / CH-276 (cn 24429/294) Martinair 163 Heavy from Amsterdam touches down on Runway 6. This aircraft, along with a mate, visited Bradley only briefly to clear customs before continuing on to an uncertain future. For this 767, that future involved a trip several hours later from BDL over to Roswell, New Mexico. |

OE-LPB (cn 28699/163) It's a real treat for us Bradley photographers that our home airport is the primary diversion airport for New York's JFK Airport. Storms down in New York can mean interesting things here in Connecticut, witness Austrian 87 from Vienna visiting us for a few hours while things calmed down to the south. The 777 is jockeying for position on BDL's Postal Service ramp. BDL handled a total of 8 New York-area diversions this day. |

N802NW / 3302 (cn 533) A Delta A330 has been on my camera's wish list for quite some time, but I didn't dream I'd first catch one at Bradley. Here, Northwest 849 from Rome manuevers for a spot on the Postal Service ramp after being diverted for a few hours from its intended destination of New York - JFK. Nasty storms around the region this day wreaked havoc for JFK operations; fortunately BDL skirted the heavy weather, but just barely. |
