N888KT (cn 61P-0783-8063396) Photographed on the preparation/press day at the start of the 2001 London to Sydney Air Race, this factory restored and upgraded Aerostar with its four-man crew won the race. To quote Aerostar Aircraft; - 'The striking red paint and golden dragon design were finishing touches designed to capture maximum attention at every stop along the race route'. It certainly caught my attention and brightened up a dull March morning! |
