VH-EWY (cn 10669) First flt 18.6.84 as PH-EXL, to East-West 10.08.84, 'City of Armidale'. 1st revenue service 16.8.84. After 1989 pilots dispute, East-West retired their F27 fleet (except one on contract to Navy). From 15.9.89-22.11.89, VH-EWY was leased to Ansett WA (also affected by the dispute) through Charter Cruise Air (CC Air) to fly the Argyle Diamond Mine contract, to the far north of WA. The airlines recovered in 1990, and aircraft returned to their owners. To G-JEAH, G-ECAH, Philippines Air Force - serial 10669. |

VH-POG (cn 32-139) The sign on the side says it all really: this is the Broken Hill mail-plane. Wettenhall Air Serrvices is a charter company based in Deniliquin and Broken Hill. This early Cherokee Six was registered new in Australia on 2 February 1966. |

Bought by EAS 3.81 and leased to ACI then Air Toulouse Int from 6.91 to 3.97 when wfu at TLS; apparently offered for sale for $1.5m in 2001 but completely scrapped on March 11th 2004. |
