B-2056 / 056 (cn 27525/66) Flights to and from destinations all over China constitute a huge part of both passenger and freight operations at LAX. To the spotter, there are loads of opportunities to catch the aircraft operating these services on any given day. China Southern is one of the few carriers whos passenger flight arrives from China in the early evening, which allowed me to make this photo shortly before sunset. Here, CZ's SkyTeam B777-200ER completes its 13hr journey direct from Guangzhou. [Canon 40D] |

HL7750 (cn 34209/633) With up to 5 daily flights, Korean Air has a heavy presence in Los Angeles. Infact, depedent on the day, Korean can be considered tied with Qantas as the carrier with the most overseas flights operated into LAX. Now re-establishing the link between Los Angeles and Brazil, KE has started service between LAX and Sao Paulo several times weekly. Here, a beautiful blue B777-200ER completes its 12 hr journey from Guarulhos, taking a short break before heading over the Pacific to Korea. [Canon 40D] |
