N880AJ (cn 22-00-01) This is the first Convair 880 made. Served as Convair demo (N801TW), then sold to TWA (N871TTW) 1964 to 1973. AJI purchased aircraft 1978 (N880AJ) and shown here at AJI mod center in Harlingen. Scrapped at Mojave, but nose is in a museum in Georgia. |
