C-FBBA (cn 276) Maldivian Air Taxi’s eighteen Twin Otters operate out of small lagoons fitted with CAP12000 floats. This makes them prone to sea water corrosion and they go back to lessor Kenn Borek in Canada every two years for complete overhaul, fitted with wheels for the ferry flight. This was one of a pair (the other was C-FBBW) that transited through BHX from Dubrovnik en route to Calgary via Keflavik in November. |
