29-5103 (cn 003) On display at Gifu Air Show 2009. T-2 CCV (Control Configured Vehicle) was built for a research project by Japanese Ministry of Defense. The biggest result she brought is Mitsubishi Fly-by-wire system, which is now equipped on the Mitsubishi F-2 Fighter. She is now stored here at Gifu Air Base and no longer flies, but still looks attractive. She was built from the 3rd-built T-2 jet trainer with 3 canards added.
