N809LX (cn 258432) Seen here carrying the temporay sticker titles of SKA Air & Logistics, an Iraq based operation. This aircraft is interesting in that it still carries its US registration even though it was cancelled on the 9th November to the UAE. |

CS-DRF (cn 258730) Netjets Europe is based in Portugal and claims Europe’s biggest fleet of executive jets. It operates a fractional ownership scheme whereby its members effectively own timeshares in the fleet; which particular aircraft is available when they need one depends on availability. The Hawker 800 is one of seven types in the fleet. This one has just turned off Manchester’s Runway 24R. |

ZK454 / N (cn BB-1835) There was a lot of discussion before 45 Squadron was authorized to use the King Airs provided by Serco for displays. However, a very impressive routine is now flown that is nevertheless within the civilian operating limitations of the aircraft, and display duty is rotated so as to spread the increased hours evenly and minimize the additional maintenance impact. (The darkened windows have polarizing filters that can be rotated from inside for increased sun protection.) |

A32-439 (cn FL-439) This King Air 350 is operated by 173 Surveillance Squadron at Oakey, Qld., and was at Essendon in support of the recent Victorian bushfires. Note the redback spider underneath the side window - the unit's callsign is 'Redback'. This aircraft was registered to manufacturer Raytheon as N6139Z 1 March 2005, but soon afterwards exported to Australia where it was registered to the distributor, Hawker Pacific, as VH-ZHP on 25 August that year. A year later it was transferred to the military Register and its civil registration was cancelled on 4 August 2006. |
