G-APHX (cn 507) Flight One Ltd was a charter and survey company that existed briefly during the ‘70s & early ‘80s at Staverton. It operated Twin Pioneers G-AYFA, G-APHX and G-APHY which it bough from the short-lived JF Airlines of Portsmouth, as well as LN-BFK from Fjelfly and G-BBVF. Most were cannibalised to keep G-BBVF flying. G-APHX (built Oct 57) is seen here outside the company hangar in the evening after the 1974 Staverton air show – it was to remain rotting here at least until 1978. |
