G-A*** This sunset view shows two (leased) Syrian Arab 707s at their gates, the captain just leaving the nearest aircraft. Beyond are a British Airtours 707 (far right) & VC10s of Gulf Air (left) and BA (the fin of this one still bearing the BOAC Speedbird logo). The rear view of a 747 can also just be seen far right. Two BA/BEA Vanguard Merchantmen can be seen at the distant cargo terminal picture left, with the fin of a cargo 747 on the skyline. In the distance a Trident makes a smoky departure. (Zenit B) |

YK-AHB (cn 21175/290) Excuse the clutters, the interior of this binless upper deck of the mighty SP named "Arab Solidarity" really takes you back many decades but feels just fantastic! Probably can consider a rare shot from Aleppo, as Damascus was closed for Arab Summit, our 12 hr delayed flight have to divert to Aleepo to land. [Nikon D2x, Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye] |
