VH-JJZ (cn E2114) Owned by Ansett Air Freight, in TNT colours. First flight 28.10.88 as G-BOXE, delivered to Ansett in Perth 18 days prior to this photo on 6 June 1989. Mainly operated in Queensland with sistership VH-JJY, on nightly Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Mackay/Townsville/Cairns run, replacing Fokker F.27s. After the collapse of Ansett on 14 Sep 2001, the aircraft was parked at Woodborne 11.01, then ferried to Ansett's former homebase at Melbourne on 7.8.03. To G-ZAPR Titan Airways on 19 Dec 2003. |

OY-SRN (cn 23326/124) [Canon 400D + 100-400L] It's cargo time at Lisbon, and this Star Air B767 gets airborne runway 03, after the departure of a Spanish Swiftair ATR-42. Soon others would leave LIS, such as TNT B737 and DHL B757. First time I get to photograph a Star Air B767 and this one is new registration to me. Delivered in 1985 to Air New Zealand (ZK-NBA), it has been with TACA (ZK-NBA), Ansett Australia (VH-RMC), Swiss World Airways (HB-IIX), before joining and starting his freighter carrer with Star Air at 01/11/2005. |

OO-TAY (cn E2211) This quick change BAe146 was previously operated by Axis Airways as F-GOMA. It entered service with TNT on January 23 and is operated along sistership OO-TAZ as quick change aircraft in the fleet of 13 BAe 146's. Here OO-TAY is seen taking off from runway 07R with a full load off passengers heading to a sunny holiday destination wihle the early morning sun is nicely illuminating the belly. |
