101 / RED The massive T-4 prototype still looks very manacing, even in a museum. |

101 / 8-MN (cn 101) The F-100s, T-33s and Mystères of the French Air Force were supplied by the US Air Force under the Mutual Defense Aid Program. Thus at the end of their service life they belonged to the USAF. Initially the Mystères were distributed to UK museums but VAT issues meant they were only considered 'on loan' from the USAF. MDAF rules prevented them being donated to 'foreign' nations. Now these airframes are getting old, they must be returned or scrapped. This example spent only a few months at Doncaster prior to being pulverised. |

101 (cn 90A837) Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine standing in the cockpit of an active Russian aircraft, let alone an "air force one" type! A million thanks to Don and the crew of the TU-154. |
