Photo ID: 1016304 Views: 17564 Aircraft Location & Date USA - Marines Boeing Vertol CH-46E Sea Knight (107-II) Memphis - International (MEM / KMEM) USA - Tennessee, November 8, 2005 Remark Photographer 154854 / YS (cn 2461) This CH-46E is from the HMM-162 "Golden Eagles" based out of MCAS New River in Jacksonville, NC. Back in the mid-70's my father served in this squadron and did two Med Cruise tours with the unit. It was a joy (and a bit of luck) to be able to catch the old Yankee Sierra bird in Memphis.
