This F-100D was first registered as 54-2290, then sold to Denmark as G-290. Planned to be transferred to Turkey, during it's transfer flight in November 1981 it had an engine failure in NAS Sigonella, Italy. Left there, it went for a while in Vigna di Valle Museum and finally restored by 31st TFW personnel with fake serial 56-2927 and transferred to Aviano AFB. Daniele Faccioli Contact Link to me!
