EVA Air Cargo
McDonnell Douglas MD-11F
Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX)
USA - California, February 3, 2010
Remark
Photographer
B-16111 (cn 48787/631) Nothing beats shooting an aircraft that not only has awesome angular winglets but also has a great huffing engine going through the tail! I do love photographing tri-jets and the MD-11 is an especially hard one to make look bad. Here is an F variant from Eva Cargo departing 25R at KLAX into a postcard blue sky to take it's cargo back to Taipei. Lovely scheme on this carrier, it really pops against the background. B-16111 (cn 48787/631) MD-11's cross wind landing for 8,200ft runway at Narita is always exciting. EVA6192 from Taipei gliding on short final 16L with strong cross winds from the right.
