B-16402 (cn 27063/947) One of the few B744 that arrived israel for conversion into a freighter. Seen here performing "missed approach" on runway 12, after reaching minima. |

B-16402 (cn 27063/947) On the western end of the airport property and just south of 24L-6R, is a group of remote gates built specifically to handle overflow from the Tom Bradley International Terminal. Here we see an EVA 74 being tugged into one of these remote stands in preparation for an evening departure. Above and to the left of her tail is one of the many aircraft departing 25R. This time it's a AA MD-83 just about to cross the shoreline and head out over the Pacific Ocean before looping back over the airport at 10,000ft or above. |

B-16402 (cn 27063/947) EVA makes a "heavenly" arrival with what looks like a blessing from the Big Guy upstairs :) [Canon EOS 20D w/Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM] |

B-16402 (cn 27063/947) Eva 10 arrives in very strong contrast as she is bathed in evening sunshine, with the North Shore mountains behind her are just about invisible with thanks to a heavy storm which we avoided at YVR. |

B-16402 (cn 27063/947) Eva one zero just starting her burning of rubber on 26R. I personally liked this livery although I suppose it could use a bit of updating - we shall see. |

B-16402 (cn 27063/947) Gotta love it when you nail down 74s in such prime surrounding and condition, YVR style. Mt. Baker is covered in snow, and notwithstanding the distance, seems so crisp and clear. |
