B-18616 (cn 30175/1182) On 20th August, this aircraft landed at Naha Airport, Okinawa on a scheduled flight from Taipei at 10:27 local time. Just after arriving on the stand, a fire erupted near the no.1 engine, and passengers were evacuated using the emergency slides. Minutes later, a large explosion occured in the center part of the aircraft, and the jetliner was destroyed. Luckily, no-one was injured [Nikon D200] |
