C-FETB (cn 18024/177) With the relatively recent retirement of N720H (Honeywell) and N720PW (P&W), this is the last airworthy Boeing 720 in the world. It is seen here on final approach for runway 24R completing a 4 hour test flight with a PW150 engine mounted on the nose which powers Dash-8-Q400 aircraft. |

C-FETB (cn 18024/177) "Pratt 720" departing off 24R for a 5h30min test flight, sporting a small business jet engine on the 5th pod mounted near the nose. This particular 720 was first delivered to American Airlines in 1961 and rumor has it it will be replaced by a 747SP soon. |

C-FETB (cn 18024/177) You have no idea how much time I spent trying to get some shots of this unique aircraft, its schedule is very unpredictable so it's a tough one to get, after about 2 years I finally managed to get a clean shot of it. Captured while on short final to runway 24R after a 6 hour test flight, sporting a Pratt & Whitney 615 engine on the 5th pod installed just behind the cockpit on the right hand side. |
