C-FTNA (cn 193M-1019) This former Air Transat Tristar was severly damaged by a hailstorm after take-off from Lyon on July 6, 2001. The aircraft was written off and is now preserved near the cargo area.

C-FTNA (cn 193M-1019) TS264 arrives at the Satellite. DD 13.12.72 and alternated between C-FTNA of Air Canada (Summers) and N312EA of Eastern (Winters) from then to 81. ST Air Transat 05.88 and LT Air France 06.89-02.91. Damaged 06.07.01 nr Lyon in hailstorm, and currently stored there.

C-FTNA / 501 (cn 193M-1019) Air Canada 791 heavy is a hybrid wearing Eastern Air Lines colors and Air Canada titles landing runway 24R. Shared seasonly with Eastern Air Lines where she is N312EA. First flight was November 18, 1972. Delivery date was December 13, 1972. Sadly, W/O July 6, 2001 near Lyon, France with Air Transat as C-FTNA routing LYS-SXF due to damage from hailstorm while climbing thru FL190. Aircraft and was deemed uneconomical to repair due to age and is stored at LYS.

C-FTNA (cn 193M-1019) This Aircraft crossed a violent hail storm over Lyon (City where it was diverted, The initial destination was Berlin) The damage was too important and the plane too old (30 years !) for envisage a repair.Now the plane is stored at the aeoport. He will be can be used for the airport fireman training.
