Ryanair
Avro 748 Srs1/106
In Flight
UK - England, September 2, 1986
Remark
Photographer
EI-BSE (cn 1549) Ryanair in the beginning, just over a year after they started in business here on the FR212 from Dublin to Luton, their first scheduled route with regular service using 748's. This aircraft was written off at Pokhara Airport in Nepal on the 11/06/97 when flying for Necon Air as 9N-ACM. It suffered a hydraulic system failure after landing and ran off the runway, the pilot managed to steer the plane back on the runway after 100m but it ran off the left side onto the ramp and struck another parked aircraft
