EK-76400 (cn 1023413438) Detaching of all four engines is in progress.On 2 July 2008 when the aircraft was flying from Bagram to Sharjah with 9 crew on board, at FL280 the aircraft suffered an uncontained compressor explosion in engine #3.Shrapnel caused major damage to neighbouring engine # 4. Engine fragments also punctured lower wing surface and right center fuselage. The pilots were able to remain control and a successfull emergency landing at Zahedan INTL was made. No injuries reported.
