G-AWHS / 4 (cn 228) "Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim" This Spanish built Buchon was operated by the Spanish Air Force before being sold to fly in the movie "Battle of Britain". It also flew in the movie "Patton" where it incarnated a P51 Mustang!! :-/ [Nikon D800 / AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm]

Germany, January 10, 2004
Remark
Photographer
G-AWHS / 4 (cn 228) This Spanish-built Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 clearly has a split-personality in more ways than one! She has appeared in the "Battle of Britain" movie and rather inexplicably played the part of a P-51 Mustang in the movie "Patton".

Remark
Photographer
G-AWHS / 4 (cn 228) She may look like (and be labelled as) a Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6, but really she's a Spanish licence-built Hispano. Flown by the Spanish AF until 1966, she was purchased for the movie "Battle of Britain". She later played the part of a P-51 Mustang (yes, really!) in the Hollywood movie about General Patton, called "Patton".
