G-BDXF (cn 21351/323) 10 months after photo ID 0980169 was taken and finally the answer to my question. Sadly the scrapping of this marvelous aircraft is now well under way. Photo taken in some earie conditions as the fog raises in to low cloud and a glimpse of sun. 20 minutes earlier I could not even see this beast. |

G-BDXF (cn 21351/323) Despite what it says on the fuselage, G-BSXF is actually a Cameron balloon; this registration has for some reason been altered. This aircraft is actually G-BDXF, which is owned by European Skybus and carries the remains of the livery of its final operator, Corsair, to whom it was chartered. Seen parked on the western end of the crosswind runway a few weeks before being towed to the eastern end of the airfield to be broken up alongside G-BDXE. |

G-BDXF (cn 21351/323) Stored at Filton, missing 2 of its engines. I very much doubt this aircraft will take to the sky ever again. |

G-BDXF (cn 21351/323) On final approach for runway 06R. This aircraft has now been scrapped. G-BDXH, it`s sister aircraft had a successful engine restart over Indonesia while operating for British Airways, due to volcanic dust ingestion, and landed safely. |
