G-BNYS (cn 24013/210) One of the two long range ETOPS 767s operated by Excel gets airborne from Runway 24R on a beautiful spring day, seen from the superb Aviation Viewing Park. Formed as Sabre Airways in 1994, Excel serves leisure destinations in Europe and the Middle East from bases at Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow. Peeled-off lettering from the old logo, replaced in 2005, can be seen on the upper fuselage sides. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod) |
