G-BOAA (cn 206) This was the first Concorde arrival at Ringway. G-BOAA was operating a schedule from IAD to LHR when fog at the latter caused a diversion 'UP North'. It returned to base next day watched by thousands. We now have our very own G-BOAC esconced in its own tailor-made hangar. |

G-BOAA (cn 206) A perfect fit between my camera lens and the plexiglass hole made this very long exposure possible. |

G-BOAA (cn 206) Approach and lowpass to RWY 07 at BIRK. An Transatlantic Air Rally and planes lined up on far end, all avertizing signs were blown over by the wake! I still remember the noise it made, pulling up beside the Country Hospital. Piedmont F28 N293, F172 F-BURG, PA28 N3641R, Aerostar N601P and B300 N1861B below. |
