G-VRUM (cn 23048/582) Suffering a tyre puncture on its take-off roll this aircraft managed to stop and taxi just off the main(with the help from the controller who saw the puff of smoke as the tyre blew).The fire service surrounded the aircraft quickly and checked the undercarriage over.After about half an hour it was towed back to the Terminal.Minimal delays for other traffic. |
