Aerochago
Douglas DC-7C(F) Seven Seas
Miami - International (Wilcox Field / 36th Street / Pan American Field) (MIA / KMIA)
USA - Florida, Early 1990's
Remark
Photographer
HI-599CT (cn 45208/855) Typical DC7 landing. I guess they started cleaning it but didn't have the means to reach all the way up to the tail and fuselage.

Remark

HI-599CT (cn 45208/855) Ahhh! They don't make them like this any more... And they don't kick out smoke like that any more either. Aerochago acquired this former Northwest Orient DC-7 from T&G Aviation in May 1991 after their Connies were grounded. Five months after this photograph was taken, she met her end after she ran off the runway at her home base, Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic - a sad end for the "magnificent seven"
