USA - North Carolina, May 26, 2013
Remark
Photographer
N106US (cn 1044) This 'Miracle on the Hudson' plane is now the focal point of the Carolinas Aviation Museum. Note the damage to the rear lower fusulage where it impacted the river and also that the engine pylon has been bent upwards. As one can readily understand it was a truely awe-insiring exhibit!

Remark

N106US (cn 1044) [Canon 1D Mark III + Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L] Continuing its historic move to the Carolinas Aviation Museum, the "Miracle on the Hudson" aircraft travels down I-95 in Newark, DE. Earlier in the day, N106US crossed the Delaware Memorial Bridge from New Jersey. The additional logos on the fuselage are companies helping sponsor the move, and if you look closely, the white support vehicle is branded in a US Airways colors. This is my 500th photo in the database.
