N138WA (cn 47845/356) It is really a privilege that we have those DC-10's regulary serving Leipzig LEJ for troop charter flights for the US. Army. So I don't mind that I have nailed exactly the same airplane a few months earlier. A landing DC10 is always an impressive sight! Coming in on RWY26R from Washington BWI. Delivered to Varig in 1981 and still going strong after all those years. N138WA (cn 47845/356) Gotta love the tri-holers! Due to construction work at the airport and closed taxiways I was finally able to nail one of the last remaining Pax DC-10 in the world in great light and from a slightly downlooking angle. A shot to remember as I was lucky enough to be at the right time at the right place. Dedicated to the friendly spotter who took me with him in his car.
