N3423 / 524 (cn 77) My earlier shot N3423 at Atlanta in 1979 shows her in the ex-North Central colours. Here she is respledent in the full Republic livery. By the time I saw her two years later she'd been repainted due to the Northwest takeover. And now NW is gone...

N3423 / 524 (cn 77) Two dedicated North Central employees help an elderly passenger down to the ramp. N3423 flew for Braniff as a CV-340, and was later converted to a CV-580, serving North Central and Republic. Photo taken by my great uncle and scanned from a slide. Thanks to David Lednicer for retouching the old slide.
