N536JB (cn 1784) Jetblue's "Canyon Blue" makes her departure turn from KMCO heading for KJFK. It appears that a mechanic has taken some measurements and left them in yellow crayon on the engine. I have been waiting a while to fly on this aircraft which had the gear problem at LAX a while back. |

N536JB (cn 1784) Flight Deck of Jetblue's "Canyon Blue" as she visits KFRG. One can only imagine how busy the crew must have been in here the day of the nose wheel problem at LAX. Special thanks to the Captain and First Officer for their gracious tour and for letting me get this shot. |

N536JB (cn 1784) "Canyon Blue" departing 22 on its way to Florida. On September 21, 2005, this bird's nosegear unexpectedly turned 90 degrees shortly after departure from BUR, forcing the pilots to circle for several hours before making a textbook emergency landing on 25L at LAX. The whole ordeal was broadcast live over the internet and also on television. [D100] |

N536JB (cn 1784) 11 days after shooting this pic, this plane would have a nose gear malfunction and be forced to divert to LAX from its original BUR-JFK flight. It was very emotional and exciting to watch this beauty make a glorious landing on LAX's runway 25L. Awesome job to the crew! Couldn't have landed it any better. [Canon 300D] |

N536JB (cn 1784) Del 05/24/2002 "Canyon Blue", tail livery "Squares" ex Airbus F-WWDS performs a low pass for the LGB tower for a nose gear inspection, and as you can see the nose gear is in a 90-degree position. Following the flyby, the aircraft spent the next 2 hours flying over the Pacific Ocean just off Long Beach burning fuel before diverting to LAX for an emergency landing, which happily was a succesful one without injuries. |
