N90070 (cn 513) This bird was scheduled of the last revenue flight of this type in American Airlines service flying as AA 1908 (MIA-JFK) thus ending 21 years of A300 service with the company. However, a retired A300s were pressed into service over the next few days to fill in for other aircraft hence extending their service life a few more days. |

N90070 (cn 513) Celebrating my 100th upload with another pic from AA, this time with a shot of one of the last flights of the A306 out of SJU. We'll miss those A306's!! N90070 (cn 513) My first, and most likely last, time I see this flight going into BDL. It was delayed due to the noreaster that blew in and dumped snow all over the northeast the night prior. Now, the A300 looks to be on indefinite hiatus from the BDL-SJU route, to be replaced for the foreseeable future with 757s. Maxxum 5D. |

N90070 (cn 513) I've said this once before on a caption about this flight: "Sometimes what's bad for the passengers can be good for the photographer!" A late winter storm two days prior caused major problems throughout the northeast, and no doubt was responsible for this flight's 18-hour tardiness. American 1312 Heavy from San Juan is on final for Runway 33 with a planeload of travel-weary passengers. |
